New resource for Victorian First Nations peoples
Clinical trials can benefit the health of First Nations peoples as they provide new and promising treatment options for a range of diseases, including cancer.
This new information brochure developed by TrialHub in partnership with Victoria’s First Nations community includes bright and vibrant bespoke artwork called The Gift of Healing by renowned Victorian Indigenous artist, Dixon Patten. Dixon is a proud Gunnai, Yorta Yorta, Gunditjmara, Dhudhuroa man with bloodlines from Wemba Wemba, Barapa Barapa, Djab Wurrung, Wiradjuri, Yuin, Wodi Wodi, Wolgal, Monaro.

Victorian cancer clinical trials data
A new report from Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) highlights trends in cancer clinical trial participation and activity in Victoria during 2022-2024.
Their first Annual Victorian Cancer Clinical Trials Census report provides data on participation rates, participant demographics, trial types, trial sites, and sponsoring organisations.
In addition, CTA have released a dynamic dashboard where these data can be further explored.
