Summary
This trial is assessing a drug called Pumitamig, also known as BNT327, with immunotherapy and chemotherapy. There are two stages in this study. In both stages, participants will be randomly allocated (by chance) to the groups.
Stage 1 will have two treatment arms and one control arm, with the following treatments:
- Control Arm: atezolizumab + etoposide + carboplatin
- Experimental Arm 1: Pumitamig Dose 1 + etoposide + carboplatin
- Experimental Arm 2: Pumitamig Dose 2 + etoposide + carboplatin
Stage 2 will have a treatment arm and a control arm, with the following treatments:
- Control Arm: atezolizumab + etoposide + carboplatin
- Experimental: Pumitamig Dose 3 + etoposide + carboplatin
Each stage of the study consists of a screening period (up to 21 days), an induction period followed by a maintenance period, and a follow-up period for all participants.
Participants will be allowed to switch to cisplatin if carboplatin is not tolerated, at the researcher's discretion.
