Summary
This is an early-stage clinical trial testing a new experimental targeted treatment called HLX48 in people with advanced or metastatic solid cancers that have spread or can no longer be treated successfully with standard therapies.
The main aim of the study is to find out:
- Whether HLX48 is safe to use
- What side effects it may cause
- What dose can be given safely
- How the body processes and removes the medicine
HLX48 is given by intravenous (IV) infusion, through a drip into a vein.
Because this is the first time HLX48 is being tested in people, participants will receive different dose levels. Small groups of participants will be treated first before increasing the dose for later groups.
A safety committee will carefully review the results from each group before allowing more participants to enrol or receive higher doses.
Participants will be closely monitored for side effects during the first 3 weeks after their first treatment.
Researchers may adjust the dose levels studied based on information collected about safety, side effects, how the drug behaves in the body, and any signs that may help control cancer.
