Summary
This study is looking at a new combination of two investigational medicines - tulmimetostat (also called DZR123) and JSB462 (also called luxdegalutamide) - for people with metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) that is getting worse.
The research is happening in two main phases.
Phase I (Parts 1a and 1b): Checking safety and finding the right dose
- Part 1a: Different dose levels of the two medicines are tested together to find out what doses are safe for people to take.
- Part 1b: Once safe dose options are found, researchers test them in more people to choose the best dose to use in the next phase.
Phase II (Part 2): Comparing the new treatment to standard treatment
In this part, the chosen doses of the two study medicines are compared with the current standard of care for people with mCRPC who have not had chemotherapy with drugs like taxanes.
The main goal is to see whether the combination treatment helps lower PSA levels by 50% or more (PSA50), which is a sign that the cancer may be responding.
