This study is an early‑stage clinical trial being done in people for the first time. Its main goal is to find out whether a new treatment, called VVD‑133214, is safe and how well it is tolerated. Researchers will also study how the drug moves through the body, how it works, and whether it shows early signs of helping to control cancer.
The study includes people with advanced solid tumours that have specific genetic changes called microsatellite instability (MSI) and/or deficient mismatch repair (dMMR).
Participants may receive VVD‑133214 by itself, or together with other cancer treatments called bevacizumab or pembrolizumab.
VVD‑133214 is a tablet taken by mouth. It works by targeting a protein in cancer cells called Werner (WRN). This protein can help certain MSI or dMMR cancers grow. By blocking the WRN protein, VVD‑133214 may help slow down or stop the growth of these types of cancer.
