This phase III trial is comparing bendamustine (a chemotherapy drug) with another treatment (chosen by the investigator) in patients with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
 

This trial is treating patients with B-Cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma.

This is a systemic therapy trial.

You may be able to join this trial if:

  • You have had treatment but your cancer has gotten worse or has not responded to the treatment you have been given.

You may be excluded from this trial if:

  • You have had certain treatments, surgical procedures or drugs.
  • You have a certain disease or psychological condition.
  • You have previously been treated (or are currently being treated) on a clinical trial.
  • You have been diagnosed with a prior or secondary type of cancer.

Summary

To compare the efficacy of bendamustine against treatment of physician's choice on progression-free survival in subjects with indolent B-cell NHL. To test whether bendamustine will improve progression-free survival in subjects with indolent B-cell NHL that did not respond (stable disease or progressive disease) to rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen during or within 6 months of the last rituximab treatment compared to treatment of physican's choice.
